Deuteronomy 23:5
Nevertheless the Yahuah your Elohim would not hearken unto Balaam; but the Yahuah your Elohim turned the curse into a blessing unto you, because the Yahuah your Elohim loved you.

Context
3 An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the Yahuah; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the Yahuah for ever:
4 Because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against you Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse you.
5 Nevertheless the Yahuah your Elohim would not hearken unto Balaam; but the Yahuah your Elohim turned the curse into a blessing unto you, because the Yahuah your Elohim loved you.
6 you shall not seek their peace nor their prosperity all your days for ever.
7 you shall not abhor an Edomite; for he your brother: you shall not abhor an Egyptian; because you wast a stranger in his land.
