1 [To the chief Musician, Maschil, of David, when Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, and said unto him, David is come to the house of Ahimelech.] Why boastest you thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of Elohim continually.
2 your tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
3 you lovest evil more than good; lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
4 you lovest all devouring words, O deceitful tongue.
5 Elohim shall likewise destroy you for ever, he shall take you away, and pluck you out of dwelling place, and root you out of the land of the living. Selah.
